Samsung Galaxy S20 offers a unique feature: You can create a star, or “Favorite”, option for certain contacts with whom you communicate often. This allows you to quickly access their information. Instead of searching through hundreds or thousands of contacts just to find the ones you’re in touch, you can now favorite the person you want on the Galaxy S20+ Plus. You can make it even easier by using favorites. Here’s how to create favorites in the Galaxy S20+ Plus.

You’ve likely already starred contacts on your Android device. If so, we’ll tell you how to add them and remove those you don’t wish to favorited. These are the steps to add and remove favorite contacts from your Galaxy S20 or Galaxy S20+ Plus.

How to Starfavorite Contacts on Galaxy S20 and Galaxy S20+

• Turn on Galaxy S20 and Galaxy S20+.
• Go to the phone app “Phone”.
• Navigate to the “Contacts” section.
• You can choose the contact you want to make a favorite or star.
• Tap the “star” in the red circle.

A second option is to choose the name from the contact list to set and create a favorite on the Galaxy S20 and Galaxy S20+ Plus. Once you have all information, select the star that appears at the top. The star will be added to your Favorites once you’ve selected it.

Samsung Galaxy S20 and Galaxy S20+ Plus don’t automatically allow you to sort your favorites manually in order to put the most important people at top. Instead, all contacts listed alphabetically.

You can uncheck the star of a person you wish to delete from your favorites by visiting their contact page. You can also remove the contact from your favorites to uncheck their star.
